Matthew Toms

Matthew Toms is Asian Pacific Group's Chief Operating Officer and reports to the Group's Chief Executive Officer. Matthew has been with Asian Pacific Group (formerly Asian Pacific Building Corporation) for over nine years and is a key member of the Group's Board.

Matthew heads the newly created Asian Pacific Corporate Services which encompasses twelve of our owned and operated businesses and also directly manages our Sales, Marketing, Human Resources and IT divisions with operational oversight of our Finance and Legal divisions. Matthew also forms a key role in the continued development of the Group's strategic direction.

Prior to his promotion to Chief Operating Officer, Matthew was General Manager - Business Operations from 2005-2010 and Senior Manager - Business Development from 2002-2004.

With an Economics degree earned in 1994, Matthew successfully completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2008.

Vicki McLachlan - Human Resources Manager

Vicki McLachlan

Human Resources Manager Vicki joined the Asian Pacific Group in December 2008. Vicki has a solid Human Resources background in Australia and New Zealand, having worked across a variety of industries at a senior level. Before moving into Human Resources, Vicki was Operations Manager at one of New Zealand's largest tourism companies.

Vicki holds a Master of Business Administration from Canterbury University in New Zealand. She is also a qualified coach, NLP Master Practitioner and accredited MBTI Administrator.

Managing all aspects of Asian Pacific Group's Human Resources functions, Vicki's particular area of interest is working with individuals and teams to help them to develop professionally and personally.

Tim Jackson - General Manager - ICT

Tim Jackson

Tim Jackson is Asian Pacific Group's General Manager for ICT and reports directly to the Group's Chief Operating Officer. Tim is responsible for the day to day operations of the group's corporate IT environment and heads Asian Pacific Telecommunications within the Asian Pacific Corporate Services division. With over 10 years experience in the IT industry, Tim has held a number of infrastructure positions within the education and commercial sectors.

Joining the company in 2008 as the Group IT Manager, Tim accepted a promotion to a General Manager role in late 2009 which saw a shift in responsibility to include all facets of ICT across the group and he currently holds a position on the Asian Pacific Corporate Services executive team.

Tim holds a number of qualifications in the Information Technology arena and is preparing to commence an MBA with a major in computing.

Dean Pavitt - Corporate Lawyer

Dean Pavitt

Previously Dean was a Senior Associate for a top 10 law firm before commencing as Corporate Lawyer with Asian Pacific Group in November 2009. He provides advice and legal services to entities across the Asian Pacific Group.

Dean's principal areas of practice are Litigation, Commercial Law, Property Law, Employment Law and Planning.

Dean holds an LLB and a BA (Chinese). He is admitted in Victoria and is also entitled to practise in Commonwealth courts.

Matt Davoren

Matt Davoren joined Asian Pacific Group in January 2011 as Group Financial Controller and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Matt is primarily responsible for day to day management of the finance team along with statutory compliance, management reporting and taxation.

Prior to joining Asian Pacific Group Matt was a Senior Manager with global accounting firm Deloitte and worked across a broad range of industries and companies including local listed entities, multinational and private groups. Matt also spent 2 years working as a senior financial accountant with Royal Dutch Shell in London from 2007 to 2009.

Matt holds a Commerce Degree (Accounting) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia
