Since W H. Deague arrived from England in 1867 and began establishing his reputation as a leading builder in Melbourne, further generations of the family have continued in business as master builders.

David Deague maintained the tradition, building the family-owned firm that, in 1992, became Asian Pacific Building Corporation, specialising in Melbourne commercial property development.

The Deague family are now taking the business forward - building on 150 years of passion and commitment to property development and construction.

The proud history of Asian Pacific Building Corporation is highlighted by recent substantial growth that is reflected in the extensive portfolio of Melbourne based commercial offices and residential property projects.

Blending development and construction experience with an understanding of the needs of contemporary businesses, our skilled team has created the unique 'Business Network Precinct' concept - a winning formula that delivers the ultimate in boutique office environments.

In 2011 Asian Pacific Building Corporation underwent a restructure that saw two new entities created. The first was Asian Pacific Group, a new parent company that would encompass the four main brands of Asian Pacific Building Corporation, Asian Pacific Hotels and Resorts, A Better Choice Financial Group and the newly created Asian Pacific Corporate Services.

Asian Pacific Corporate Services was the second entity created to pull together all the serviced based businesses that formerly fell under Asian Pacific Building Corporate including Asian Pacific Business Centres and Melbourne Commercial Office Sales and Leasing.
